Six Hour Race

Brand new location for 2018! The Six Hour Adrenaline Rush Adventure Race is a great race for the beginner or intermediate adventure racer. It’s also a great change of pace for sprint or olympic distance triathletes, or the next step for competitors in races like the Tough Mudder or Muddy Buddy. If you are fit, can ride a bike, are not afraid of a little water, and can read a park trail map, you can do this race!  The navigation won’t be overly tricky, however there will be some more advanced checkpoints off trail to challenge seasoned racers. The format will be straight forward with a little trekking, biking and paddling and you will without a doubt have an amazing experience in and around one of Virginia’s most beautiful state parks. Get ready for a whole new adventure at James River State Park!

BOAT UPDATE: Canoes and kayaks will be provided. Teams will not be allowed to bring their own boats, but can use their own paddles and PFDs. Paddles and PFDs will be provided to teams that do not bring them.
